Getting Here

You can experience Mardi Gras World all year because we are open 7 days a week, from 9:30am to 5:30pm! Our Mardi Gras tours begin every half hour, and last for approximately one hour. Mardi Gras World is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and, of course, Mardi Gras Day. We will be closing at 2pm Christmas Eve.

We understand that it can be expensive to travel while sightseeing in New Orleans, so if you don’t have a car or don’t want to pay for parking, let us pick you up: Mardi Gras World offers a complimentary shuttle for people interested in taking our day tour, with designated pick-ups downtown and in the French Quarter. To see shuttle pick-up locations, click the maps on the side panel. The shuttle is very easy to spot because it is covered with photos of Mardi Gras World and has the logo on the side. There are no prearranged pick-ups, so just give us a call when you are at one of the designated spots, tell us how many are in your party (limit of 20) and we will quickly pick you up! We are located at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, on the south end of the Convention Center. *Not available for Group Tours

We are located at the foot of Henderson Street, in the Central Business District. It is on the south end of the Convention Center. If you’re having trouble finding us, just give us a call and we will be happy to direct you.
